Serialisation data exchange offered to partners over AS2
Ergopharm now offers partners automated serialisation data exchange over AS2, alongside the existing file-based route, so commissioning and shipping events can flow directly into a partner's own system.
Manual file exchange works until volume makes it fragile. Automated exchange removes the human step from a process whose entire value depends on the data arriving complete and on time, and it makes reconciliation at goods-in a system function rather than a spreadsheet exercise.
“Serialisation data that arrives late is not late. It is missing.”
Events are exchanged in EPCIS format: ObjectEvents for commissioning, AggregationEvents for packing into cases and pallets, and shipping events at dispatch. The vocabulary and data formats follow the GS1 general specifications, so a partner integrating Ergopharm is not integrating something bespoke.
The file-based route remains available for partners whose systems do not support automated exchange.
