Aseptic training suite opened
A dedicated aseptic training suite has opened at the Vadodara site, giving operators a classified environment in which to practise gowning and interventions without any product present.
Aseptic technique is a physical skill, and physical skills are learned by repetition. Practising in a live production cleanroom is expensive and, when it goes wrong, consequential. A training suite built to the same classification allows an operator to make the mistakes that teach — reaching over an open container, breaking first air — where the only cost is a lesson.
“Somewhere has to be the place where breaking first air only costs you a lesson.”
The suite is used for initial gowning qualification, for interventions practice ahead of media-fill participation, and for periodic requalification. Sessions are observed and recorded against the individual's training file.
Media-fill participation remains the qualification that counts; the suite is where people arrive ready for it.
