Register restructured into ampoules and tablets

Ergopharm has restructured its product register around dosage form — sterile ampoules and oral tablets — replacing the earlier grouping and standardising every monograph onto a single documentation template.

The previous arrangement had grown by accident, with product families reflecting the order in which they were developed rather than anything a distributor would find useful. Reorganising by dosage form matches how the products are actually made, stored, shipped and handled at goods-in.

The register should be organised the way the products are handled, not the way they happened to be invented.

Standardising the template mattered more than the grouping. Each monograph now binds the same elements under one controlled reference: composition, indications, dosage, contraindications, storage, pack and serialisation layout — so a partner comparing two products is comparing like with like.

The register remains a living document; products are added as they complete qualification and stability.
