First export consignment dispatched
Ergopharm has dispatched its first export consignment to a licensed importer, shipped under a written quality agreement and accompanied by a full documentation set.
Exporting introduced a discipline that domestic supply had not: the paperwork travels with the goods and is read by people who have never seen the site. Certificates of Analysis, packing lists and shipping documents had to be right the first time, in a form a customs officer and a receiving quality unit could both act on.

The quality agreement signed with the importer set out who does what — which party is responsible for storage conditions in transit, how complaints are transmitted, how long records are kept, and what happens if a batch is questioned after arrival. That template, refined many times, still underpins partner onboarding today.
Every carton in the consignment carried a batch number and expiry traceable to a complete manufacturing record held at the site.
