Annual ampoule output passes one hundred million

Annual ampoule output at the Vadodara site has passed one hundred million units, with both aseptic filling lines running at qualified capacity across a full year.

Volume of this order changes what can go wrong. At small scale, an anomaly is noticed by the person who saw it; at scale, it has to be caught by a system. Growth has therefore been matched by investment in in-line inspection, environmental monitoring coverage and the statistical trending that turns a large number of batches into a signal rather than a pile.

At a hundred million units, nothing is caught by someone happening to notice. It is caught by a system or not at all.

Every unit is 100% visually inspected after sealing, and every carton is serialised, code-graded and aggregated at the end of the line. The proportion of units rejected at inspection is trended as a process indicator in its own right.

Figures given are illustrative of the facility standard rather than a certified capacity.
