Trenbolone Acetate 100 mg/ml

Trenbolone Acetate 100 mg/ml is a solution for injection into a muscle. It contains trenbolone, a very strong man-made substance related to testosterone, the male sex hormone that men's bodies make naturally. It is used to build and preserve muscle and body tissue where your doctor has judged that a powerful, short-acting treatment is needed. This is the fast form: it starts working within about a day and leaves the body quickly, so treatment can be stopped or changed at short notice. It is a prescription-only medicine that your doctor has prescribed for you after weighing its strength against its risks; it needs close medical supervision and must never be used by anyone else.

This is a particularly potent medicine, so the checks before and during treatment matter more than usual — read this section carefully and tell your doctor everything about your health.

Warnings and precautions

• +Talk to your doctor before using it if you have any heart or blood-pressure problem. Trenbolone strains the heart and circulation more than milder medicines of this kind: it can raise blood pressure, badly upset your cholesterol balance and make you unusually breathless during everyday effort.
• +Talk to your doctor before using it if you have kidney problems or have noticed changes in your urine. Trenbolone can make urine look dark or rust-coloured, which is often harmless but must always be reported so your doctor can check your kidneys.
• +Talk to your doctor before using it if you have ever had depression, anxiety, or problems controlling your temper. This medicine can cause marked mood swings, aggression, restlessness and severe difficulty sleeping.
• +Talk to your doctor before using it if you have breathing pauses during sleep, asthma or a persistent cough; heavy night sweats and breathlessness are common with this medicine.
• +Talk to your doctor before using it if you have diabetes or a prostate problem, and expect blood tests before and during treatment, including blood counts, liver tests, kidney tests, cholesterol and prostate blood tests.
• +Some people get a sudden, frightening bout of coughing and chest tightness in the seconds after the injection. It usually passes within a minute or two, but tell your doctor if it happens to you, and never inject this medicine when you are alone if you have had this before.
• +This medicine contains a substance banned in sport. If you take part in tested sport, tell your doctor and your sporting body before treatment starts.

Other medicines and Trenbolone Acetate

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines, including ones bought without a prescription and herbal products. Mention especially blood-thinning medicines used to prevent clots, such as warfarin, as this medicine can strengthen them and cause bleeding; medicines for diabetes, including insulin, since your blood sugar may fall and doses may need changing; steroid tablets or injections such as prednisolone, which together with this medicine make your body hold water; medicines for blood pressure, which may no longer control it well enough; and medicines handled by the liver, such as ciclosporin after a transplant.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility

Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are trying to conceive. It is a strong hormone that can seriously harm an unborn baby and can cause a female baby to develop male features. Do not use it while breastfeeding, as it may pass into breast milk. Women who could become pregnant must use reliable contraception throughout treatment. In men, trenbolone strongly suppresses the body's own testosterone and sharply reduces sperm production, so you may be unable to father a child during treatment; recovery after stopping is usually faster with this short-acting form than with long-acting ones, but it is not guaranteed. Discuss any plans for a family with your doctor before treatment.

Driving and using machines

This medicine can affect your ability to drive or use machines. It commonly causes poor sleep, night sweats that leave you tired the next day, irritability and sometimes sudden breathlessness or dizziness. Do not drive or use tools or machines if you feel tired, light-headed, or find your temper or concentration is not normal.

Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. It is given as an injection deep into a muscle, usually the buttock or thigh, by a doctor or nurse, and must never be injected into a vein — injecting into a vein can cause a sudden violent coughing fit and severe breathlessness. Because this form is short-acting, injections are given at short intervals; use a new sterile needle and syringe each time and a different site each time if you have been trained to inject it yourself. Check the liquid is clear before use. Each ampoule is for single use — discard any that is left. If you miss a dose, contact your doctor for advice; do not inject twice as much to make up for it, as this medicine is powerful and the risk of side effects rises steeply with larger amounts. If you think you have had too much, contact your doctor immediately.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Other possible side effects

• +heavy sweating, especially night sweats that soak the bedding
• +difficulty sleeping, and vivid or disturbed dreams
• +irritability, aggression, anxiety or sudden changes in mood
• +getting out of breath much sooner than usual during exercise or climbing stairs
• +a fast or pounding heartbeat, or raised blood pressure
• +urine that looks darker or rust-coloured than normal
• +acne, oily skin and hair loss or thinning of scalp hair
• +in men, reduced sex drive, difficulty getting an erection, smaller testicles and a much lower sperm count
• +in women, a deeper voice, extra facial and body hair, and periods that become irregular or stop (voice and hair changes may be permanent)
• +pain, redness or a hard lump where the injection was given

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store below 25 °C, keep the ampoules in the outer carton to protect them from light, and do not freeze. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date printed on the carton and on the ampoule; that date is the last day of the month shown. The liquid is normally clear and pale yellow to amber — do not use it if it is cloudy, if you can see particles, or if the glass is chipped or cracked. Never throw needles, syringes or medicines into the household rubbish or down the drain. Put used needles straight into a sharps container and return unused medicine and full sharps containers to your pharmacist for safe disposal, which protects other people and the environment.

The active substance is trenbolone acetate. Each 1 ml ampoule contains 100 mg of trenbolone acetate. The only other ingredient is a sterile oil carrier, which dissolves the active substance and carries it into the muscle. The medicine is a clear, oily, pale-yellow to amber liquid supplied in 1 ml single-use glass ampoules, amber or clear glass. Each carton contains 10 ampoules of 1 ml together with this leaflet.
