Twenty years of manufacturing in Vadodara
Ergopharm has marked twenty years since the analytical laboratory in Tandalja first opened, a period that took the company from contract testing to a serialised export manufacturer with two dosage-form streams.
The arc is easy to summarise and was not easy to walk: a laboratory in 2005, a manufacturing block in 2006, first commercial release in 2007, a sterile facility qualified in 2012, exports across Asia and the Middle East from 2013, European markets from 2015, an oral-solid facility in 2017, serialisation across the portfolio by 2019, and today licensed distributors in more than forty markets.
“Twenty years of not claiming more than we can show.”
What has not changed is the underlying claim, which is deliberately modest: medicines built to a documented standard, in packs that can be traced. The company has never claimed more than it can show, and the discipline of that restraint is what makes the documentation worth reading.
Figures cited across the site are illustrative of the facility standard; specific national approvals are held by the partners who hold the marketing authorisations.
